By JONATHAN D. FISHER The first Lego train set for kids has arrived, a first for the company that brought the toy-building toy to life.
The train, a limited-edition 1-inch-thick model of a steam locomotive, is available to buy for $499.95 at Lego’s online store.
It features a locomotive engine, an articulated arm and a giant Lego train in a world of LEGO bricks.
The set will be available through Lego’s retail stores in Canada, United States and Japan beginning Tuesday, and on its own at Lego stores nationwide through May.
It will be part of Lego’s Lego Train Collection.
In an email, Lego said the train is “the first of its kind” and will be in production for a year.
It has been designed by a designer in Sweden, who also worked on the original Lego train.
“The Lego train is built with a whole host of new technologies to allow for the full functionality of the train, with all new parts and accessories,” the company said.
“It also includes an articulated train that can be controlled from the outside by simply turning the wheel of the engine.”
It’s a first in the Lego universe, and it’s the first train set ever made for children, Lego spokesman Paul Sorensen told National Geographic.
The Lego Train is not a traditional Lego train, he said.
There is no cost to buy the train set, Lego says.
“This is the first LEGO train for children to come to life in the real world,” Sorenen said.
Lego’s first train in LEGO is called the LEGO Train, which has been built for $49.95.
It comes with a steam engine, a locomotor, a train that travels at speeds up to 80 miles per hour and is powered by the engine’s own batteries.
The Lego Train was unveiled at the Lego Store in Tokyo last year.
In addition to the train and other products, the store also sold a limited edition version of the set that featured the “train” on its wall.
The “train for kids” is a concept that has been in the works for years, Lego told National Geography in a news release, with its aim to give kids “an accessible and fun way to build and learn about trains.”
It was built for children ages six and up, Lego wrote.
Lego has had an interest in using the train in its own toy line for a while, and this is the company’s first attempt to make a Lego train available to kids.
“Lego has also developed a series of other train models for kids, which it says are more realistic than the “model train” that was shown to National Geographic, but that the company doesn’t yet know how many are sold.
