A train-themed “Lionels Train” event will take place at the White House on Wednesday, according to a tweet from the president’s chief of staff.
The event, set for 6:30 p.m.
ET, will feature a “Live-Action Lionel Train” (LIONEL) train ride featuring a “Lions Journey” ride, the president said.
This is the first time that @POTUS will take part in a live-action lion train ride, @PPDOTUS said in the tweet.

The train will feature “LIONS Journey” rides, a “live-action” lion ride, and a “Dogs in the Whitehouse” ride that will feature live performances of the WhiteHouse’s Lion of America program, according the White.gov website.
During the trip, the White house will also host an exhibit that highlights the work of the lion in America.
In 2019, the President also hosted an “Animals in the Oval Office” event at the National Zoo.
