The first time I ever got on a train to Sydney, I was shocked by the size of the train.
It was bigger than any of the trains I had ever boarded.
I remember the conductor walking past me with a clipboard in his hand.
“You can’t buy tickets on the train,” he said.
“There’s no money in it.”
That was the beginning of a journey that would take me all around Australia and across the country to train stations across the globe.
